Female Vocalist

 HOW IT ALL BEGAN.  

 I go by the stage name of Elly G/Elizabeth Rose. I was raised in a country town of Ballarat Victoria Australia, and I have one sister, and four brothers, coming from a musical family, singing around the camp fire, was something I always looked forward too, when on our family camping trips.

 I was a singer in my school, and church choir, and i was never to shy when asked to sing a song. My guitar teacher, arranged our guitar group’s first concert, which was at Langi Kal Kal Prison; this is 140 kilometers west of Melbourne on the Western Highway at Trawalla.

 At the age of 10, I won my first competition, in front of 8000 people, in Warrnamabool Victoria Australia, on the back of a semi trailer truck, singing and playing my guitar, at "Warrnamabool's Gala Festival".

 At the age of 13, my High School "Sebastolpol Tech" put my name in for a radio competition, on 3BA Radio, called the "Gong Show", this was on air at the school, and when my name was called out as the winner, the school erupted with cheers.

In 1978/79, I was getting ready to go live, onto channel 9 TV show “Safeway New Faces” with “Burt Newton”, I was so nervous, I was unable to control my singing voice, it was awful, but I kept right on singing, only to be crucified, by the Judges comments. Oh but what an experience. I was the front singer, for a band in the 1980's, which sadly, ended before it begun. And that’s were my singing career ended, not picking up a microphone again, until 2001. I re-married in 2004, to the wonderful Baritone singer “Paul Sterling” as the old cliché goes, “Together We Make Beautiful Music”.

We now enjoy displaying our talents, out there among the rest, by offering our, Duo Show "The Sterling Edge Duo, Hit 'N' Miss Karaoke Show, Music Trivia, DJ Sterling Edge for over 40's, and the best sounding, style and wit as Old' Blue eyes' himself, Paul Sterling has created in the "Sinatra Tribute Show" called "Sterling Sings Sinatra" is well worth the effort to book, at your next venue event.

        Our Professional team will ensure your night is one to remember, in a safe environment for you and your guest's. We are self-made entertainers and we have established our name in many venues all over Sydney. Fronting this night of entertainment is the dynamic Baritone sound of Paul Sterling and the inimitable powerful voice of Elly G.
